Dale Marie (Ice) Cattley

Dale Marie (Ice) Cattley, daughter of the late Bessie and Dewey Ice and wife of the late  Louis A. Cattley; dear mother of David L. Cattley (Mary) of Moon Twp., Robert Cattley (Leesa) of The Colony, TX and James Cattley of Pittsburgh; sister of Betty Hoye, Nancy Toothman, Lena Jo Bereksazi, Alma Taff (Nathan), Kay Leeson and the late Daniel, Robert and Burt Ice; also survived by three granddaughters, three grandsons, two great-granddaughters and three great-grandsons.  Mrs. Cattley was a WWII Veteran, having served in the Army Nurse Corps. and spent many months in the Philippine Islands.  She was a University of Pittsburgh Alumnae, past president of the American Nurses Association, a member of Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church in Bellevue, past Worthy Matron of #85 O.E.S. and a member of North Hills Chapter #526  O.E.S.  Friends will be received on Thursday, April 20, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the McDonald-Linn Funeral & Cremation Service, LLC., 529 California Ave. Avalon, where funeral services will be held on Friday, 9:00 a.m.  Interment will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Wounded Warrior Project.  Please view and sign the family's online guestbook at: www.mcdonald-linn.com
