William E. Whitelock

William E. Whitelock, age 86 of West View Borough, died peacefully at home on Sunday, November 13th, 2022. 

Beloved husband of Donna K. Whitelock for 48 years.

Preceded in death by his parents William and Mary Whitelock, sister Jean Whitelock and first wife, Della Hoffman Whitelock. 

In addition to his wife he is survived by his brother Richard S. Whitelock and friend Ayn; brother-in-law Rev. DD (Mary) Meighen; nephews, Chris (Laurie) Meighen and children, Ethan, Blake and Kaden; Drew (Bethany) Meighen and children, Luke Kyle and Clayton; R.J. (Becky) Whitelock and children, Elise and Laney; and niece Julie (Moses) Perry and children, Lily, Grant and Lincoln. 

Bill was a member of New Life Community Church in Bellevue and served both as deacon and elder and was a member of the choir. He was also an avid bowler, golfer, enjoyed his hobby of trains, jigsaw puzzles and liked to travel. 

Family and friends will be received at McDonald-Linn Funeral Home, 529 California Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15202 on Wednesday, November 16, from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, at 11:00am and visitation at 10:00 am with Rev. Don Brown officiating and Rev. DD Meighen reading scripture. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Gardens. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his memory to New Life Community Church, 45 North Fremont Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15202.
