Tristan L. Grande

Tristan L. "Pete" Grande, 85, of Ben Avon died on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 peacefully at home surrounded by family. Tristan was a retired Postal employee and Army Veteran of World War II. He was the loving son of the late Nicola and Theresa Grande; brother of Betty Kmetik, James and Norma Grande; also the late Elizabeth, Joseph and Mary Grande; uncle of James (Kathy), Frank (Eileen) and Alan (Carol) Grande; Rob and Karen Kmetik; great uncle of Kristy, Kevin, Jenny, Michael, Caroline, Jacob and Therese Grande. Tristan was truly one the "nice guys" and will be forever remembered as such by his family. Friends received Thursday and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the McDonald-Linn Funeral Home, Inc. 529 California Ave., Avalon. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church, Emsworth on Saturday at 10 a.m.
