Thelma L. Phillips

Thelma L. Phillips, age 80 of Canonsburg, formerly of Avalon passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2022 at her home with her loved ones by her side. She was born on December 26, 1941 and was the wife of the late Donald G. Phillips.

She was a dear mother of seven, Lois J. (Mike Gnarra) Reynolds, Donna K. (Joseph) Gold, Linda L. (Richard) Wirkowski, Sharon (Charles) Brown, and Brenda (Jason) Rupprecht; loving grandmother of fourteen; and great-grandmother of twenty-six great-grandchildren; sister of three, Bob (Marylan) Potts, Loretta Phab, and Helen (Jim) Morris; and daughter-in-law, Tena Phillips (widow of the late son Donald Ray).  Thelma will be missed by so many. 

In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Dicie Potts; two sons, Donald Ray Phillips and William C. Phillips; and several loving siblings. 

Thelma was a wonderful and loving mother of seven. She enjoyed camping, fishing, sewing, shopping, and spending time with her family. 

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the McDonald-Linn Funeral Home, (529 California Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15202). Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 8 at 11:00am in the McDonald-Linn Funeral Home Chapel.
