Sharon J. Tarrant, age 78 of Cranberry Twp., formerly of Parkersburg, WV and Flint, Michigan passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2022. She was born on July 10, 1943 and was the daughter of the late Ernest and Irene (Hickman) Tippett.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Lawrence “Larry” Tarrant; five loving children, William (Carrie) Tarrant, David (Heather) Tarrant, Stephen (Jenny) Tarrant, Anelisa Tarrant, and Michael (Heidi) Tarrant; ten loving grandchildren, William II, Ashley, Sophia, Andrew, Avery, Allison, Christian, Natalie, Bailey, and Kaitlyn; two siblings, Richard (Linda) Tippett and Suzanne (the late Roger) Losey; and also survived by many family and friends.
Sharon was a member of St. Brendan’s Episcopal Church where she served as a member of the Altar Guild for many years. She was also a member of the Order of the Daughters of the King. Sharon was a nurse for nearly fifty years and in her free time she was an avid reader, quilter, and needle pointer as well as being an incredible seamstress.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 12:00pm at St. Brendan’s Episcopal Church, 2365 McAleer Road, Sewickley, PA 15143 and visitation will be from 9:00am to 11:00am at McDonald-Linn Funeral Home, 529 California Ave., Avalon, PA 15202.
