Age 94, of Emsworth, peacefully on Thursday, June 7, 2018.  Beloved husband of the late Dorothy C. (Sammel) Boyd.  Loving father of Robert (Jackie) Boyd, John (Kathy) Boyd, Donna (Brian) Bucek and the late William (surviving spouse Debbie) Boyd;  grandfather of Melinda (William) Petrina, Bria Boyd, William (Bridgette), Robert (Rachael) and Thomas (Jessica) Boyd, Brian and Steven Bucek;  great-grandfather of Katie and William Petrina, Jagger and Hudson Boyd, Tess and Drew Boyd, Ava and Aria Boyd;  brother the late Agnes Geiger.  Samuel served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and survived the sinking of the USS Ommaney Bay.  A remembrance service will be held at Allegheny County memorial Park Saturday, June 16th at 10;00 AM with a luncheon to follow.  Please RSVP to bdb257wall@verizon.net by Wednesday, June 13th..  Arrangements entrusted to McDONALD - LINN FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, LLC, 529 California Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15202.  Please view and sign the Family's guestbook at;
