M. Virginia (Scott) Arnold

Martha Virginia Arnold (Scott) (aka Ginnie, Grandma G, G, Ging, Scotty) of Moon Township, Crafton and Bellevue, PA passed away peacefully on Christmas Eve, Tuesday December 24th, 2024 at Allegheny General  Hospital with her family at her side. She was born on July 22, 1941, in Pittsburgh, the daughter of Harry B. and Martha Scott (Lambert). Ginnie (Scotty) graduated from Crafton High School, Pittsburgh, PA in 1959. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Clifford Arnold III (Buck), the love of her life. She single handedly kept the Avon corporation in business running her own business as a sales woman for over five decades. She is survived by her daughter Martha Ann Arnold (Marnie), married to Vince Camut with grandson Charles Donald Camut (Charlie) and her son John Charles Arnold (Willie), married to Jennifer Arnold (Osgood) and granddaughters Quinn Bailey Arnold and Ella Riley Arnold. Ginnie believed in and understood family. She had an inherent knack for making friends – not the kind who wave from across the street, but the kind who became part of the fabric of her life. She loved diet Coke with Captain Morgan, the beach, cocker spaniels, and any reason for a party. While she dealt with diminishing health for years, she never lost her sense of humor, making jokes up to the very end. She loved and was loved in return. Family and friends are welcome for visitation on Monday, December 30, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm  at the McDonald ~ Linn Funeral Home, Inc. 529 California Ave. Avalon, Pa 15202. A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Tuesday at 10:00 am.
