MILDRED E. (HIRSCHFIELD) GAROFALO

Age 97, of Avalon, on Monday, March 12, 2018, at Allegheny General Hospital. She was born September 22, 1920 and was preceded in death by her husband, John Garofalo and a brother and sister. Mildred was retired from the former Suburban General Hospital in Bellevue. She is survived by her children, Arlene (the late Edward) Healey, Emil (Antoinnette), John, Jr. and Elaine (Bill) Costello. She was loved by her grandchildren, Jessica, Chelsea and Colton, along with Emil, Jr. and Jacob; also survived by great-grandchildren, Madison and McKenzie. Family and friends are welcome for visitation on Thursday, March 15, 2018 from 4-8 p.m. at the McDONALD-LINN FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICE, LLC, 529 California Ave., Pgh, PA 15202. Interment will be private.
