Lynn Knecht Obituary


Lynn A. (Boyle) Knecht passed peacefully December 17, 2020, with her Husband of 55 years Harry A. Knecht, her daughter Maureen and her husband Jeff Newcamp by her side.
She is survived by her sister Susan (Boyle) Anton, Brother-n-law Rich Anton, Bonus Grandchildren: Jessica, Lisa, Jeff Newcamp Jr.,Tamara (Tim) VanBuren, 7 bonus great grandchildren, a niece and two nephews and many cousins.
Lynn was born in Pittsburgh, PA July 28. The daughter of Helen Ribnicky Boyle and Joseph N. Boyle. 
Lynn attended Avonworth High School. She worked for ARC Allegheny, Senator John Heinz History Center and retired from Duquesne University.
She was an avid reader, enjoyed book club, lunch with high school friends/co-workers, traveling, broadway shows, volunteering, sewing, quilting, crafting and cleaning.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to The Hospice Staff.
In lieu of flowers memorial Contributions may be donated to AHN Hospice, The American Cancer Society or Charity close to your heart.
