Lois Appel

Lois Appel, age 76 of Pittsburgh passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2024. She was born on August 9, 1947 and was the daughter of the late Henry and Lorraine (Kostka) Appel. 

Lois was a Volunteer for The Salvation Army Greater Pittsburgh Women's Auxiliary and Avalon Public Library. A member of The First Church of Christ, Scientist in Sewickley. A graduate of The University of Pittsburgh and went on to work as an Investment Banker for PNC Bank until she retired.  

Survived by her sister, Judy (the late Richard) Phelps; nephew, Keith (Anita) Phelps; grand niece, Michelle Phelps; and many family and friends. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her nephew, Paul Phelps.
