Age 85, of Glenfield, PA passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 16, 2021. Beloved Wife of the late Joseph R. Mascara, Sr. Dear Mother of Joseph R. Mascara, Jr. and the late Cynthia M. Mascara and Gerard P. Mascara, Sr. Loving Grandmother of Jacqueline Hartley (Adam), Joseph Mascara III, Gerard Mascara Jr. (Lori), Jocelyn Mascara (Charles), Joshua Mascara, and Zachary Mascara. Great Grandmother of Carly, Colton, Brady, Tyler, Dawson, Aubrey and Tenley. Janet loved animals and volunteered at animal shelters. Family and Friends are welcome for visitation on Tuesday 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm  at the McDonald – Linn Funeral and Cremation Service 529 California Ave Avalon, PA 15202. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11:00 am in Sacred Heart Church, Emsworth, Pa. Burial will follow in North Side Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be donated to Bethany Hospice or Animal Friends.
