Irene Lois DeMarco Hawkins

Age 77, of Avalon, on October 14, 2012. Irene Lois (DeMarco) Hawkins, beloved wife of Richard James Hawkins; loving mother of Janet Kathryn Hawkins of Seven Fields; sister of Norma Rape of Evans City, Rose Forester of Cranberry Twp. and the late Mario and Joseph DeMarco; sister-in-law to Janet (Robert) Darkey, Francis (Mary) Hawkins and Grace DeMarco. Irene loved her family and home, had a zest for life and brightened every one she touched. Friends received Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the McDonald-Linn Funeral Home, Inc. 529 California Ave. Avalon. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the Church of the Assumption, Bellevue. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
