Herbert Maurice McLuckie

Peacefully on Wednesday, August 19th. Beloved husband of 61 years to Marjorie. Loving father to Scott (Vicki) and Jennifer (Ed) Gould. Adored grandfather of Casey and Carson McLuckie and Annie, John, and Katie Gould who were his pride and joy. He was preceded by his parents Adolphus & Mabel McLuckie and his sister Janet Ruprechet. Herb grew up in Leetsdale and worked for H H Robertson in Ambridge. He was a proud veteran of the US Army who served in the Korean War. Herb lived a Christian life and was an active member of Community Presbyterian Church of Ben Avon . He sang in the choir and was always willing to help, no task was too small. He loved the theater. He was an usher at the Benedum Center and was a founding member of Community Theatre Players. Herb had a smile for everyone. His gentle spirit, kind heart, and deep faith were apparent to all who met him. More than anything, he loved his family who will miss him dearly. There will be a private burial at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the McDonald - Linn Funeral and Cremation Service, LLC.
