Harold S. Mahrer

Age 95, at St. Barnabas, formerly of Sewickley, on June 4, 2012. Harold S. Mahrer, husband of the late Alice F. (Frank) Mahrer; father of Susan M. (Jeff) Lumley of Grove City and Diane Weider (Edwin) of Medina, NY; grandfather of Pat, Colleen, Brian, Mike, Rachel and Natalie; also survived by 15 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews; preceded in death by a brother; David J. Mahrer and sister; Francis Falvo. Mr. Mahrer was a Navy Veteran of WWII. Friends received on Wednesday from 11 until time of services at 1 p.m. at the McDonald-Linn Funeral Home, Inc. 529 California Ave. Avalon. Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Barnabas Free Care Fund, 5850 Meridian Rd. Gibsonia, PA 15044.
