Age 78, of Avalon, peacefully on Sunday, December 16, 2018. Beloved husband of M. Lori (Cook) Woods. George was a member of the Avalon Volunteer Fire Department and retired employee of the Borough of Avalon. He was preceded in death by his parents George and Margaret Woods, Sr. and one brother. He is also survived by one brother. As per George's wishes service and interment are private.
