Elaine Brunner

Ruth Elaine Brunner, age 89 of Pittsburgh, passed away on Monday, June 12, 2023. She was born on April 29, 1934 and was the daughter of the late George and Ruth Vanhorne.

Survived by two sons, Michael Louis Brunner Jr. (Ann) and Russell Steven (Caryn) Brunner; five grandchildren, William (Caitlin) Brunner, Sarah Brunner, Aaron Brunner, Adam Brunner, and Michael Louis Brunner III;four great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Patrick, Acley, and Rose mae; and survived by many family and friends. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Micael Louis Brunner, Sr., and one brother Robert Vanhorne. 

Ruth was a member of Ben Avon U.P. Church. She was very active with friends and loved to travel. 

Family and Friends will be received on Friday, June 16, 2023 at McDonald-Linn Funeral Home, 529 California Ave., Avalon, PA 15202, from 1:00pm until time of service at 3:00pm in the Funeral Home Chapel and additional viewing will be following the service until 6:00pm.
