Age 78, of Ben Avon passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 08, 2021. Beloved Husband of Janet Shaffer. Dear brother of the late Robert E. Shaffer. Also survived by nephews and cousins. Edgar was a long time employee of the PA department of Transportation. Family and Friends are welcome for visitation on Wednesday August 11, 2021 4:00 pm until time of funeral service at 6:00 pm at the McDonald - Linn Funeral and Cremation Service 529 California Ave. Avalon, PA 15202. Memorial contributions may be donated to the American Lung Association to the American Cancer Society.
