Dorothy (Kirner) Miller

Age 85, of Avalon, peacefully on Sunday morning, March 26, 2017, with her family by her side. Beloved wife of the late Charles Miller; dear mother of Chuckie (Anne) Miller, Susie (Doug) Barnhart, Judy Miller, Bonnie (Joe) Miller, Nancy (Mike) McCumber, John (Mary Kay) Miller, Amy (Mike Heimberger) Andreas and her late infant daughter, Mary Miller; devoted "Mugga" of Jessica, Dougie, Kevin, Matthew, Shelly, Charlie, Christina, Dustin, Alyssa, Cassie, Ashley, Jennifer, Lexi, Jocelyn and the late Nicky; great-grandma of Madi; also survived by many nieces and nephews and other family members. Dorothy was the last surviving child of ten from the Kirner clan. Dorothy was a very caring and nurturing person to everyone she met. She enjoyed spending time reading and watching the Game Show Network. Family and friends are welcome for visitation on Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the McDONALD - LINN FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICE, LLC, 529 California Ave., Pgh., PA 15202. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 29, 2017, 10 a.m. at the Church of the Assumption. Burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital  or Paralyzed Veterans.
