Daniel David
Age 60, died peacefully on Monday, November 26, 2018 in St. Louis, MO. Beloved father of Amy Herchenroether of St. Louis, MO and Benjamin Herchenroether of Boston, MA. Son of Henry C. and the late Nell (Young) Herchenroether; brother of Richard Henry (Sue), and Peter Young (Susan) Herchenroether; former husband of Wendy Herchenroether; also survived by nieces and nephews. Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Dan graduated from Westminster College with a B.S. in Computer Science. He later earned an M.B.A. from Katz Graduate School of Business, as well as a Master’s in Education Technology from Duquesne University. He spent much of his career working in leadership roles in the software industry and later worked as a computer literacy instructor. Dan published his first novel, “Selling Air,” in 2004. He enjoyed biking, glassblowing, and spending time with his children. Family will receive friends on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Community Presbyterian Church of Ben Avon, 7501 Church Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15202 from 10 am until time of the Memorial Service celebrating his life at 11am.
