Age 33, of Emsworth, on Thursday, September, 27, 2018, after a long courageous battle with brain cancer.  Beloved son of Leonard Friedman and Dianne (Nick Matko) Friedman.  Brother of Leonard R. Friedman and step-brother of Nicholas Matko; grandson of the late Marjory and David Watkins and the late Leonard F. Friedman; nephew of David Alan Watkins, Linda Ward, Janice Markewinski, Robert K. Friedman and Ginnie Turner; cousin of Kenneth Belles; great-nephew of Janet Swanson.  Daniel enjoyed the outdoors, animals, fishing and cooking.  Family and friends received Monday 2-4 & 6-8 PM at McDONALD-LINN FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, LLC, 529 California Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15202 where a brief Funeral Service will follow at 8 PM.  Celebration of Daniel's Life will be held Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 1:00 PM in St. James Lutheran Church, 28 Pittsburgh Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15202, followed by a memorial luncheon at the church.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Daniel's memory may be made to St. James Lutheran Church.  Please view and sign the family's online guestbook at;
