Claudette "Claudia" (Gurneck) Heinlein

Of Emsworth, age 78, passed away suddenly on February 2, 2018. Daughter of the late Elizabeth and Frank Gurneck, Sr. Preceded in death by her cherished husband of 34 years, Robert Heinlein; beloved sister of Betty Anne Sobek (John), the late Frank Gurneck, Jr., and Carol Azzarelli (the late Paul, Sr.); loving aunt of Renée Azzarelli Sroka, Paul Azzarelli, Jr. (Missy), Brad Warren (Darlene), the late William Heinlein, Jr., and Sharon Flynn (Howard); proud great-aunt of Amanda and Zack Azzarelli, and Sean, Spencer, Grace, and Lily Warren. She is also survived by many of her treasured girlfriends and a close-knit group of neighbors. Claudia was retired after serving nearly 25 years in the patient admissions unit at AGH Suburban Hospital and was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. There will be no viewing, however friends and family may be received at a memorial service at Sacred Heart Church, 154 Orchard Avenue, Emsworth, PA 15202, at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 9, 2018. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank.
