Barbara E. Grau August 1, 1944 - March 6, 2021
On March 6, 2021 Barb Grau was called home while surrounded by her loving family.
Barb leaves behind her husband of 58 years, Jim Grau Sr. and Son, Jim Grau Jr.; Daughter Cheryl Sims (Keith) and Son, Mike Grau (Megan) and Granddaughter, Bailey Sims and Grandson, Turner Grau.
Barb was a loving, giving and incredibly hard working woman and well known in her community of Emsworth, PA. Her family, especially her two Grandchildren were her pride and joy.
Barb was born in Pyote, Texas and was raised in Platteville, Wisconsin. Barb is preceded in death by her Mother, Margaret Blackman and Father, Oscar Blackman.
Barb served with the United States Navy from December 7, 1962 to June 24, 1964 She was also a lifetime member of the Valley Veterans Club (Glenfield) Avonworth Athletic Association
Barb donated her body to science and her cremated remains will be interred at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. A small family Memorial was already held.
