Audrey (Owens) Chappel

Audrey J. (Owens) Chappel, age 88 of Ohio Township, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2024. She was born on September 27, 1935 and was the daughter of the late Robert and Mildred Owens. 

Survived by her loving son, Timothy Chappel, three siblings, Doris Owens, Thomas (Linda) Owens, and William “Bill” (Eleanor) Owens; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 59 years, James Chappel; two siblings, Bob (Rose) Owens and Donald “Dink” Owens. 

Audrey was a very happy person and she enjoyed every minutes of life and spending time with her family. 

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, May 2, 2024 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the McDonald-Linn Funeral Home (529 California Ave, Avalon, PA 15202). A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 3, 2024 at 11:00am at Mt. Nebo United Presbyterian Church, 

1828 Roosevelt Rd, Sewickley, PA 15143. Burial will follow at Mt. Nebo Cemetery.
