Alfred “Al”

Age 93, of Bellevue, peacefully went to be with the Lord, on Wednesday, August 22, 2018.  Beloved husband of 69 years to Barbara Ann (Kowacs) Gusew. Loving father of Sandra L. (James) Hacke, Alfred “Jack” (Barbara J.) Gusew and the late Peter Gusew; grandfather of Leah (Brian) Schram, Emily, Alison and Jonathan Gusew; great-grandfather of Carter and Lydia Schram; also survived by many nieces and nephews;  Al was preceded in death by 3 sisters. Al was a 73 year member of the Carpenters Union Local 211. He was a member of Bellevue United Presbyterian Church where he served as a deacon, trustee and elder and was a member of the I.O.O.F. Clover Lodge # 348 in Ambridge. Al also volunteered his time at the Pleasant Valley Men’s Shelter.  Relatives and friends received Friday 2-4 & 6-8 PM at McDONALD-LINN FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, LLC, 529 California Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15202, where a Funeral Service will be held Saturday 11 AM.  I.O.O. F Clover Lodge Service Friday evening.
