Age 67, of Avalon, passed away tragically with his wife and best friend Barbara, on Tuesday, April 10, 2018.   Beloved husband of 38 years to the late Barbara King Wilson.  Loving father of Chad King (Louise) Wilson and the late Ronald Allan Wilson, Jr.; cherished grandfather of Chad King Wilson, Jr.; proud son of Norma Jean Thompson; dear brother of Rhonda Brannon, Terri (Anthony) Hilton, Dr. Dana (Douglas) Thompson Dorsey and the late Karen Howard; loving uncle and second father to Tara Hudgins, Shana Howard, Brandi King Richardson, John Thomas King Richardson, Jr., Shaquela Howard, DaVaughn Howard, Darrin Howard, Tre Hilton, De'  Jon Howard, Justin Dorsey and Juliana Dorsey;  special friend of his late step-father Edward Thompson and father-in-law Harold King, Sr.  Ronald was a US Army veteran, premier chef and former coach for Sacred Heart and Assumption Church Basketball.  As a chef, he also created a reading program for children in the restaurant.  He was an enthusiastic mentor to many, an avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan, and passionate supporter of the  Northgate and St. Francis University sports program where his son, Chad played.  Ronald, along with his beloved wife Barbara, was always willing to lend a helping hand to people in need.  Ronald and Barbara will be extremely missed by their family and friends.  They were inseparable and did everything together.  Relatives and friends received Tuesday, April 17, 2018 from 4-8 PM at McDONALD – LINN FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, LLC., 529 California Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15202, where funeral service will be held Wednesday 11 AM.  Interment to follow in The National Cemetery of the Alleghenies with full military honors.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in their memory be made to the Wilson Family Trust, P.O. Box 4110, Pittsburgh, PA 15202.
