Ellen G. (Brahler) Galante

On Thursday, October 19, 2017, Ellen G. Galante (Brahler), of Emsworth, beloved wife of the late Salvatore A. "Sam" Galante; loving mother of Salvatore (Karen) Galante, Louis (Carolyn) Galante and Lorraine (Tony) Pecora; grandmother of Salvatore, Michael, Stephani, Jacquelyn, Louis, Joseph, Steven, Nicholas, Veronica, Rebecca and Dominic; great-grandmother of Jace, Carly and Kelsey; preceded in death by her brothers, Louis and Raymond; and sisters, Johanna and Lorraine. Ellen was retired from Holy Family, longtime member of Sacred Heart Church and Ladies Auxiliary, as well as various other clubs and community organizations. Friends received Sunday 12 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the McDONALD - LINN FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICE, LLC, 529 California Ave., Avalon, PA 15202. Mass of Christian Burial Monday 10:30 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, Emsworth. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET IN CHURCH MONDAY MORNING AT 10:30. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Good Samaritan Hospice, 146 Neely School Rd., Wexford, PA 15090.
