Alfred L. Marks

Age 91, of Avalon, peacefully on Thursday evening, October 19, 2017. Beloved husband of Janice Marks and the late Uldine "Dolly" Marks; dear father of Michael (Deborah) Marks, Sr., Elaine (David) Gaertner, Judy (Bob) Parrish, Tim (Tammy) Marks, Bill (Linda) Marks; stepfather of Phil (Angie) Ross; father of the late Alfred, Jr., James, Thomas, and David Marks; grandfather of 24 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren; also survived by many family members and friends. Family and friends are welcome Monday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the McDONALD-LINN FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICE, LLC, 529 California Ave., Avalon, PA 15202. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the Church of the Assumption, 45 North Sprague Ave., Bellevue. Alfred would have preferred no flowers, memorial contributions may be donated in his name to Good Samaritan Hospice or the Holy Family Friary.
